Nestled in the scenic Hills District of Sydney, Australia, Aviani Persimmon Farm has been a family-run orchard since 1993, proudly growing fresh, locally grown persimmons for over 30 years. Run by three generations of the Aviani family, our farm is dedicated to producing high-quality persimmons with care and tradition.

Our harvest season runs from March to early June each year, offering visitors the opportunity to enjoy farm-fresh persimmons at their peak. Located just 45 minutes from Sydney’s CBD, we offer both pre-picked persimmons and an exciting persimmon picking experience during the harvest season.

OUR 2025 PERSIMMON HARVEST HAS BEGUN!

We are thrilled to announce the start of our 2025 persimmon season. Our packing shed is now open for sales of pre-picked persimmons 7 days a week, from 8am - 4pm, including public holidays (or until sold out).

🍊 Astringent (soft) persimmons are the first to ripen. We currently have Nightingale (Hachiya) persimmons—large, juicy, and so delicious when eaten very soft. Fuyu persimmons (the sweet, crunchy variety) will be ready in about four weeks. Pick-your-own Fuyus will begin in late April.

📢 Stock is more limited early in the season, so we recommend calling ahead at 0493 702 541 to check availability before visiting.

PERSIMMON PICKING - STARTING LATE APRIL 2025

Love picking fresh fruit? Join us for a persimmon picking adventure! Our Pick Your Own (PYO) sessions start in late April 2025, allowing you to harvest delicious, sweet Fuyu persimmons (sweet and crunchy) straight from the tree.

📢 Bookings are essential and the booking form will open soon. To be notified when bookings go live, subscribe to our SMS updates by filling out our contact form.

During harvest we sell delicious, fresh pre-picked persimmons direct to the public from our packing shed.
