Nestled in the scenic Hills District of Sydney, Australia, Aviani Persimmon Farm has been a family-run orchard since 1993, proudly growing fresh, locally grown persimmons for over 30 years. Run by three generations of the Aviani family, we are dedicated to producing high-quality persimmons with excellent flavour.

Our harvest runs from March to early June each year, offering visitors the opportunity to enjoy farm-fresh persimmons at their peak. Located just 45 minutes from Sydney’s CBD, we sell boxes of persimmons from our packing shed and also offer persimmon picking sessions during the season.

PERSIMMON SEASON HAS BEGUN!

The fruit has been slow to ripen this year, which has delayed the start of our season. The good news is that shed sales will reopen from Saturday 28 March. Our packing shed will be open 7 days a week, 8am–4pm including every day over the Easter long weekend and the Anzac Day public holiday.

Pick Your Own Persimmons - fruit picking sessions will return in April 2026, bookings are not yet open. If you’d like to be the first to know when bookings open, complete our contact form to join the VIP list.

  • Nightingale (Hachiya) – available now, with quantities increasing over the coming weeks

Pick Your Own

PERSIMMON PICKING WILL RETURN IN APRIL 2026

Love picking fresh fruit? Experience the joy of harvesting persimmons straight from the tree at Aviani Persimmon Farm.

During our Pick Your Own (PYO) sessions, you can pick sweet, crunchy Fuyu persimmons or the soft varieties Nightingale and Yemon.

Prefer not to pick your own? Our fresh-picked persimmons are available in trays at the shed—ready to take home! No appointment is necessary.
